How to use this blog
A couple dozen articles have been posted on the blog. In the Bibliography are over 300 active links to Popular Science and Popular Mechanics articles. Open up the bibliography page and search with control-F or command-F. Type kayak, and the first hit is Skimmer, a sturdy plywood kayak. Click next in the Find box and get Speedy kayak built in Jig. Click next and you get back to Skimmer, so there are just two links. There aren’t any tags, so to search for boats, you will need to use as many terms as you can: boat, dory, canoe, duckboat, kayak: this will still miss Square-rigger for the boy, or Your boy will like this liner, so just scroll the list; it’s about 500 items and growing.
